Dad's Surgery Day 3 (more pics)

Day 3 he was getting out of bed on his own. Of course after the nurse takes his leg out of the moving thing to keep the scar tissue at bay. The bed was really high so he had a hard time getting his toes and heels to touch the ground.

Here he decided to show off his staples and his cut.

At first it was just us. Yes I managed to get Matt to go. I didn't have to pull any teeth or anything. Dad was surprised.

Jessica had visited the day before with her 3 kids. She got him this really cute Get Well Balloon, in which my kids had to fight over, even though it wasn't theirs.

Jay also came for a visit. Mom had to leave cause she isn't a fan of driving in the dark, and I needed to get some of my stuff out of her car since I had been driving it for a few days. Which left Jay and Dad alone to talk. Both of them said it was a really nice visit.
