First Day Of Kindergarten

As you can see by the headline that today was Jayde's first day of school. I took pics of Brytni on her first day of Kindergarten also. I keep the first day pics to the beginnings of different things. Like Brytni's next milestone will be Junior High. I will take pics of her then. Each school year they usually do 2 picture days and we do those as milestones also. Jayde got up early today so that we could do her "All About Me" poster. She took a shower all by herself (no Brytni there to make her scream or to tell her what to do), then she got out and got dressed, ate breakfast, watch mom take a half hour nap on the couch while she and Ash watched the last 5 mins of Between the Lions, and then the full half hour of Word World. Ash actually sat to watch most of it! SWEET! Then I got up and decided that I needed to get Jayde's hair done. I had no idea what I was going to do! I plopped myself on the computer and on the off chance was looking at Tasha's blog and she had a post about her doing Mellie's hair and finding some hair blogs!! I was just so AMAZED!!! I instantly knew what I was going to do to her hair. Now I have lots of fun things I can do to all 3 of my girls hair!

So it just so happened that we stood at the bus stop for over a half hour. I was getting concerned that we weren't at the right bus stop... that the bus wasn't coming.... I called Matt to come get the girls at 12:20pm, school starts at 12:30. Just as Matt was getting ready to leave work the bus pulls up from around the corner up the street. We weren't even at the bus stop and on the wrong sisde to boot! Needless to say we had to cross the street and run up the street to catch the bus! I was running with a cell phone to my ear and pushing a stroller with my other hand telling the girls to run. The bus started off and fortunately stopped for the girls. The bus driver and I created a new bus stop for the girls to stand at so we don't have to walk so far to get to it. I was sad that I wasn't able to get more than just the one pic of the two of them for this moment in time, but we'll see if I can get one of her coming off of the bus.
