I just wanted to post something the day after September 11th. I knew that it was the day yesterday but I avoided the tv and anything of the sort to make me cry. I cry every anniversary of it. To think of all of those loved ones lost, that weather we believe it or not, gave their lives for us on that day. Many of them knew right when they saw the terrorists on the plains. Many called home and said their goodbyes and some who had to leave messages on their loved ones phones. I tear up every time I think of it. My dh came home yesterday after work and he came running in the house to turn on the radio. I thought something had happened again! He turned onto one of the country radio stations we listen to and there was a 5 minute tribute to 9/11. It started off with hearing those who are on the other side saying their goodbyes to loved ones. Then it went on to tell of one story that just made me really cry. I was putting on my makeup at the time and I thought to myself, "This was the wrong time to put my makeup on!" A guy on one of the planes had called his wife to say goodbye. He couldn't get a hold of her so he called 911. He proceeded to tell the 911 opperator about his family. Towards the end of the conversation he asked her to pray with him. They both said the prayer together and the opperator said that she heard someone in the background ask him if he was finished and the guy said yes and the opporators end of the line went dead, and then that's when it crashed into one of the towers. Listening to all of the voices of all those who died again 7 years later just kills me. I mean to think of how they all feel up there on the other side seeing our nation in such turmoil over the war. Do you think they all would be ashamed for what they died for, or to be proud of all of the controversy. I don't think so. I have lots of intuition lately. It seems to be happening a lot to me lately and I feel that my inuition on this subject is right. They all would be ashamed at how much hatred there is here about the war. Don't you think that those people would want us to go over there and kick some butt and show them that nobody messes with the US of A? Or to fight for those of them that were lost? Can you imagine how some of those people feel who made it out of those towers alive, or those who were supposed to be in those towers that day, but for some odd reason were running late and so forth? I know I am just rambling on now. I just want to say that I am thankful for my freedom! I am thankful that I am not a part of a country that will make me be a suicide bomber and go in and destroy a country. I know this war is for the better and I am thankful for the troops who have lost their lives so far to help keep our country free and free of terrorism. I am thankful for all of the families of the troops who send their loved ones over there to help keep our country free. I know many personally who have been over there and have come back, and gone back several times. Their are no words to express what is going on over there and was even told that the media makes it sound worse than it really is over there. Don't quote me on it that is just an opinion of one person and not speaking for all of the troops. I feel blessed to be living in this country! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!
Here is my 1 minute of silence now for 9/11 (even though I did mine yesterday I would like to do it on here now).
