Hardships

The last several months has been pretty rocky around here. We've had several people we know and love pass away. Saturday night about 11 pm we were sitting in Anabelle and Chris' garage and Anabelle gets a call from her sister telling us that their father isn't supposed to make it through the night. That's when it all really struck us. We didn't get much sleep that night as per the fact that we have been spending any waking hour trying to get our bathroom and hallway prepped for tile. We left our house at about noon and spent all of Sunday at Clark's house. It was really hard walking in and seeing him laying there in the hospital bed they had brought in looking like he had already passed away. Lots happened while we were there. Too much to be able to get down here. We do not expect him to live much longer. On top of all of that it was Matt's bday yesterday and I never was able to make the cake I wanted to for him. So I guess I will just go ahead and make a Halloween cake for us and Anabelle's fam to enjoy Halloween night. This will be our first year trick or treating up here at our house. We have lived here 2 years and yet to do that here. It will be interesting to see how it all goes. Ok, that is all for now.
