Simplify Suppers

I know a lot of mom's out there have troubles with trying to figure out what to make for dinner each night. It just so happened that a great lady I know sent my scrapbook group a link for this website, http://www.simplifysupper.com/ . You can sign up for it or you can use the menu they have already provided for you. I will be making my own here in a few mins, but I will also be adding my own recipes to this monthly calendar. What I really liked about this was 1. it's monthly, so I can plan meals for when I am working and my poor dear handsome hubby knows what to make for dinner that night. 2. It gives you a list of groceries for the week in exact porportions. Now mind you each recipe on the site makes 4 servings so if you eat more than 4 servings as a family then I might suggest doubling the recipe. We usually do weekly shopping but I would rather do my monthly shopping at once that way it's already done and I don't have to worry about going to the store every friday to get the foods we need. Have fun and enjoy!

OH and btw, I am waiting for a call from a store on a job. I went in again for the 4th time to let them know I was interested and the HR lady finally pulled my application from online and reviewed it. You know how when you go online and fill out an app for certain places, say like Walmart for example, you have to full out a "what would you do if this were to happen, and what should you not do" type thing? Well I had 20 pages of this and the HR lady said that I scored 98% on it and that not many people ever score that high. I hope this means that it wont take me long to get going on the job. Anyway, she told me that I should be receiving a call for a job interview next tuesday or thursday. I pray that it is for next tuesday because of Matt's hours officially being cut back to 32 hours and living off of those hours is just not going to pay the bills. So alas I am bucking up, much to my dismay, and getting a better paying job and looks like I will be working full time. SUCKS! But you have to do what you have to do in order to help make ends meet. I certainly hope that making *hopefully* $11 an hour will suffice what matt's job is now lacking. Phoey on Parker for not being able to be reliable. Matt is now looking into going to school to be a Helicopter Pilot but we are not sure what is going to become of it. What a crappy time of year for hours to be cut back and a poor stay at home mom to have to go back to work. OH and one more thing. We got things cleared up with the credit beauros (sp?!?) and we are going to yet again see what can be made of refinancing our house. I hope this is nothing but the beginning of a lucky streak for us and things just start looking better for us. We need something good to come out of this year and half slump we have been in. We got ourselves into it, and now we are doing what we need to get ourselves out of it! Keep us all in your prayers if you would please!!! THANKS!!!
