Halloween was a very busy day for us. Mine started at 5:30 that morning where I had to get up and get ready for the day, that included my halloween outfit and extra clothes and so much more. You see I had to work from 7-12, then from there we had to drive as fast as we could all the way to Orem by 1, for my nephews Baptism, which if my father wasn't so long winded sometimes, we made in time to see him baptised. After that it was a get together at my sisters, and then lunch/dinner with some friends that we haven't seen since the beginning of the year, Dan and Kim! What a great couple they are! Sure wish we lived closer so we could see them more often. And then back up to Ogden to get kids ready for trick or treating. WOW! I think we barely made it everywhere in time that day. Matt couldn't find shoes for Brytni or Ashlyn. Both of them have grown out of their dress shoes. Wish I would of gotten a picture of Brytni in her beautiful dress I got her. She looked so gorgeous and of course she didn't like it. No matter how many people told her how beautiful she looked.
I forgot to mention we had a costume contest at work. I knew I couldn't dress up to much with being in the food court, but I tried my best. I had on the best eye lashes and of course the one person who has been trying to get me in trouble and destroy me from the beginning told her favorite aunt who is a manager there that I couldn't wear them in the food court, who made me tear them off my eye lids before I could even walk in the food court doors. I mean COME ON!!!! They were GLUED ON!!! We would have a bigger issue of one of our eye lashes falling off before a big long stip of really extra long eye lashes fell in one of the pizza's I made for 5 hours straight. GEESH! Some people! Anyway, there was my rant and rave. Thanks for reading it! :)
Here I am with my eye lashes on and my halloween shirt. I didn't do much more than that this year. I decided I wanted to stay warm.
Here is Anabelle. Her oldest daughter dressed her. She looked so much like her oldest daughter here that the resemblance is uncanny.
This was the coolest house we went by this year. They deck it all out every year and always use a black light. This year a guy sat out front as still as could be scaring all of the kids. It was really funny cause all of the kids got up there and started pointing and staring at him and then Anabelle makes a comment of how funny it would be if he were real and scare the kids. Right in the middle of her sentence the guy moved and freaked all of the kids. It was really funny. I knew he was real from the beginning because I went up one house, which was his house, to get a picture because there wasn't anyone there and I liked how cool the house looked. The guy dressed up there was a Steelers fan so Matt had to get a pic with the guy. Matt dressed up as a Bronco's fan. I cannot imagine why... :)
Here is a pic of Mummy Brytni. Her outfit really lit up under the black light and was really cool. Her heart even pumped blood on the costume but you couldn't see it from here.
Here is the view of the valley below us while we were trick or treating. I thought I would make you all jealous by the view. We were really high up on the mountain side where all of the rich houses were.
Here is Ms. Glamour Witch Jayde. She wanted to be a witch, but not just any witch, she wanted to be a princess witch... How in the world do you find an outfit like that? Well thankfully walmart came to the rescue. Found the costume she wanted. She absolutely loved it. From the moment we got it I had a hard time getting her to not open the package and wear it day in and day out.
and lost but not least, we have our Lady Bug. I didn't a really good pic o fher costume because she was so cold she wanted her coat on so you couldn't see it very well, but at least you can see the really cute wings and her head band (which she lost somewhere along the way).
