Jayde's birthday was on the 3rd of July. We decided to just do something small for her, since her cousins and Aunt and Uncle's were coming over on the 5th of July to celebrate. We got her the main things she needed for her bday.... CLOTHES!!! You would think that a 5 yr old little girl wouldn't care a thing about clothes... Well this 5 yr old LOVES clothes!!!!She dresses herself up in anything she can get her
hands on! Out of all of her new clothes she found something that she loved the most. Her overalls... she loved them so much that we had to have her take them off cause they were making dad and I hot, just looking at her. They were pant overalls. I walked in the morning of her birthday and the first thing she says to me is, "where's all my presents?" Me, being the mean mom I am said to her, "what do you mean presents? Dad and I didn't get you any!" she just looked at me and knew I was teasing. We went about our day. Brytni did all of the chores around the house, and Jayde got off the hook (not so sure that was a good idea). I ended up with Stephanie Meyers newest Novel, The Host, and was enveloped by it and couldn't stop reading! Finally I pulled myself away from it long enough to make Jayde's requested dinner of, Noodles and sauce (spaghetti), and have her open her gifts. I talked to her Grandma Scott that day (that's my mom) and asked for some help in painting Jayde's room for her, for her birthday. That was when the plan of everyone coming over on the 5th to help paint it. She was so excited to hear that.
