Ashlyn's Birthday

Ashlyn's Birthday





June 22nd we celebrated Ashlyn's 2nd birthday. It was of course a day we will all remember. The events of the week prior had me already in a not so great mood. It was a stressful for me, the month of June was... Ashlyn had her favorite things she got for her bday. She enjoyed her her Unicorn Pony.






Her "Dorth" Slippers, in which she made sure that she put on all by herself.







Amidst all of her gifts she managed to escape
and leave the wake of her girft unwrapping behind her.. The tornado has passed! A lot of her cousins were there. Matt's sister Anabelle and family came in town to visit. So all of her kids were there to help celebrate. It was fun!





After opening the gifts we had some great cake. I didn't have time to make a big elaborate cake, so I made a new recipe. Manadarin Orange Cake. It was a big hit! This is Ashlyn and her cousin Tiffany who is only 6 months almost to the day younger than her. They have their moments of when they get along and when they don't.
