Slacker

Ok, so I know that I have been the biggest slacker in the whole wide world in blogging! I guess you could say lots has happened and lots hasn't happened. My days mainly consist of taking care of house and kids during the day and working at night. I am finally back into the swing of working again and it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. Working nights is nice on certain days (when the husband isn't going out and doing fun things without me :) ), and the extra money sure is nice. I've made it past my 90 days. My 30 and 60 day reviews weren't very good. It sure was hard to hear the negative remarks about me knowing that I am so much better than that. I hate getting old and being out of the work force for so long. Needless to say for 3 weeks I worked my butt off so that my 90 day review was a good one, and now I am practically top dawg at the food court. Now, don't think it's because I worked my butt off to get there, but because everyone is leaving!!! To think that I have been there a short 4 months and I am under just one other person in there other than my boss. How weird is that??

Life here at home is more hectic than I thought it would be. House doesn't stay as clean as I would like it to. I'm sure that goes both ways for Matt and myself. I know since I started working, with my job being a lot more laborous than matt's I am very worn out after work. We still manage to get out and play and have some fun. Weber County is doing free saturday's for different venues and we get to get into places like the treehouse, planitarium, roy complex, North Ogden Aquatics center, and many many more. So we have been visiting them this summer. It's really nice cause Matt and I decided that we needed to do more for the kids this summer than we have in the years past. Summer=fun time/no time. Right?

So this way I know you are a legitimate person I know and aren't trying to sneak peeks at my family! =) Ash is finally 3, and Jayde is finally 6. Brytni's bday is tomorrow and next is our anniversary where we will be celebrating 7 blissful years with each other. I still can't believe it has gone by so fast. I made a cake for Jayde's bday which is also posted on facebook. For Ash's bday it was also my sissies bday and father's day, and I also had to work, so I bought HUGE cupcakes from Costco and we decorated up the cupcake for her. The 4th was a big huge fun day. Clearfield fireworks!!! Been going there for the last 14 yrs. This year was Matt's sisters families first time experiencing them. We had an awesome spot. I also got to see some friends from high school. That was really nice. Glad to know that I am not the only one who gains weight after having children. (not that that is a bad thing. It's hard) They still look great and happy. That is all I could ask to see for them.

Dad has had yet again another knee surgery. The last and final one we hope! I didn't take pics this time just because of all of the pics I took from his first one. Same surgery just did a pain blocker on his leg so that his leg was numb for up to 24-48 hours after the surgery so it would have time to heal and get used to the replacement without him tensing up and being in so much pain. He did end up back at the dr's office with some redness in his knee and down his leg. Small infection and the doc put him on antibiotics for it. We'll see how it goes. He just says that his whole body is tender and his patients run thin a lot faster now. (That's nothing new! lol!). But he has had a few blessings and seems that everything will be fine.

We've made it to the 3 year mark in our home. The longest place we have stayed anywhere. Much to our dismay of the house falling apart around us, we still have a nice yard. We are going to be looking for another house within the year, and thinking about having another child. So much to think about and do all in one year. We keep debating about it and we both keep agreeing and then changing our minds. We'll see what happens.

Ok well, I know that I have skipped over many months of happenings but my mind only remembers what happened last week and I've been so busy that I don't take pics anymore to even remember what has happened. So I guess if you have any questions, shoot em on over and I'll see if my long term memory can remember them! LOL!
