This is the Family Christmas card I made with my digital scrapbooking software. I love it!
I got a new camera for myself and I wanted to see how well it took pics so I was testing it out. Not a bad shot. I love taking close up pics of things that are much bigger in size.
One night while Matt slept on the couch only because he hadn't slept in 48 hours, the girls and I decorated their Christmas tree. This tree was originally supposed to go in the basement but since it decided to flood there was no way it was going down there. Besides it still looks like a construction site down there.
Even Ashlyn got to help. She was so animated and excited each time she put an ornament on the tree. She would say, "I did it!! I put it on the tree!" Watching her put the ornaments on was the highlight of our night. Even the girls loved watching her put them on and watch her clap her hands and see her face light up each time she said it.
Brytni made a little bell pig last year in school. This is one of her ornaments that she gets to put on the tree each year. We are trying to start a tradition where we buy each girl an ornament they like to put on the tree.
This is the adult tree cause I am the one who decorates it. This tree sits in front of our big front window at the front of our house. I decided once I got it all decorated that I didn't have enough lights on it and that it wasn't bright enough. Especially compared to the white tree.
Here is the girls tree after it was finally finished. I added some blue ribbon and some twisted curls of garland. It turned out really cute. I took the pic right after it was done becuase since then it has been redecorated at least a dozen times.
