Basement

Just an update on our basement. We are in the middle of repairing it and fixing it up at the same time. It is taking much MUCH longer than it should have taken us to get it done. Teardown is easy, but the putting back up takes so much longer. We haven't had much sleep. We have been working on it since Saturday. Matt is the one who hasn't gotten much sleep. He's been working in the basement all night and then going to work and working 9-11 hours and then coming home, sleeping for a few hours and then we are back in the basement again working our butts off.
Today is the day we get our new carpet. Looking at carpet and getting quotes is a rough deal. When I went in to go pay for it and the price came out to be 3 x's as much as what the guy quoted us Matt freaked out. He was at work and sent me in to pay for it. He, Matt, expected me to be rude to the salesman like he was being to me. I could see why it was so much more as plain as day, but Matt had it in his head for a certain price. Needless to say we are getting some nice carpet in the 2 bedrooms we have and in the hallway. I do have to say that I am tired of spending so much time down there and that my legs and butt ache from going up and down the stairs so often. As Anabelle pointed out to me that I probably needed it since they hurt. My eye's and lids hurt much more. I haven't been eating right, nor sleeping enough to do any healing. I had my eyes checked yesterday and they dialated my eyes and so I ended up with a HUGE headache and ended up ornery for a while. Once it went away and hit my 2nd wind I was downstairs again working my tail end off. I just spent the last 2 hours cleaning up the rooms and taking down a bed prepping for the carpet. One room is completely ready for carpet, the other isn't just because we can't work as fast as our brains think. That brain and body coordination sure doesn't work in sinc most of the time. Right now my brain is so sluggish that sleep is all I can think of. In fact I am falling asleep as we speak and I can't go to sleep, there is still so much more to do. K, well there was an update... I think I will update more when I have had enough sleep and can make a lot more sense of what I am trying to say. TTFN
