We were out enjoying the yard one sunny day on the slip-n-slide. Myself being the mean mom wouldn't let them drag all of the towels out of the house to dry off. I told them it was plenty warm for them to dry off without them. One time B layed on the ground to warm up and dry off. At that point I had my camera phone out trying to take a picture of a falcon, unbeknownst (yep my own wording) to us. She turned to look at the bird and she left a perfect print on the cement. I thought it was really cool how much detail there was. What do all think of her new swimming she got for her bday? She absolutely LOVES it. It's much better than her old one that she felt she needed to wear a shirt and sometimes shorts over, which I thought it was pointless to wear the suit at all.
Summer has gone by a bit slow for me. We haven't had a lot funds to go anywhere, and Matt is working all of the time. So our adventures have been here at home. Mowing the lawn, that takes about 4 hours, slip-n-slide, the falcon, trips down the street to the damn and the river, trips to the office, swimming at the hotel, and one of favs is watching the show LOST on Netflix streaming.
