Christmas 2009

WOW! Christmas came so fast this year. I'm glad we prepared early! Just thought I would share some pics from our fun filled fantastic day.

Santa spoiled our girls this year. Mom and dad received a cool gift of a Play Station 3 so we can watch Blueray movies on our nice big screen tv. We have been very spoiled this year and are very thankful for each and every single thing we have received this year. I too have so many things to be very thankful for this year. One of them is that I have a job this season to help our little family out. Many are going without and I just happened to be lucky to of had a job when Matt was laid off. It may not pay as much as what he was making, but at least it is something and he knows that I am willing to help out in any way possible to make this family what we are. I love my man very dearly and I think this time he has had off is a good one cause he sure did run himself ragged for 3 years straight making sure we were all provided for. LOVE YOU HONEY!!!!

Brytni got a PSP (Play Station Portable), she wasn't too happy that it was purple, but really likes that it's Hannah Montana, it does a lot of different things in one. It's an mp3 player, gets on the internet and can but and download games on it, plus it will play tv, and movies. Jayde got a Nintendo DS and 2 games to go with it and an MP3 player. Ashlyn got a Guitar so she'll leave our Wii Guitars alone, and a Wiimote so she'll leave our Wiimotes alone. She also got a baby that talks (which she blatantly yelled to us that she hated), and a shopping cart with play groceries (which are all over my house, but she likes finding them all over the house and it entertains her for HOURS!), and a My Little Pony life size which she tries to braid it's hair all of the time. Mom and dad got some high tech phones a few months back for Christmas, and also some head phones since Matt's went out, and several blueray movies, games for the PS3 and some games for the Wii! We've been having some fun with all of it. We went to my parents house after opening presents. We ate some YUMMY ham and rolls and everything everyone brought, and we laughed and played. The kids had a ton of fun playing in all of the snow outside and the adults had fun opening up presents. The kids opened theirs first and they all recieved duffel bags with sleeping bags in them (all of the girls), and the boys recived a boyish toy of some sort. Then it was time for the men to open theirs. I think all of them received a pair of Pajama bottoms. Matt wears a lot of jammie bottoms now as every day attire so these were very much needed and not to mention soft! Then the daughters all opened their gifts and mom had made all of us Aprons! Now these aren't just any aprons, these are designer aprons. My mom goes all out and she is so thoughtful that all of the fancy buttons she put on them we are able to take off so we can wash the aprons. She's a smart cookie. Mine is absolutely gorgeous and I LOVE IT! After the daughters opened their gifts gma brought out some more gifts for the grand daughters, and she made each of them a small apron to help mom out in the kitchen. They were so adorable!
After mom and dad's we headed north and went to Matt's sisters house where we got to spend the rest of Christmas playing games and having a blast! I didn't take pics at her house cause we sat around and played her daughter New Moon game, which Matt almost won, even though he remembers nothing of the movie, and he's never read the book! It was a long game with lots of interrusptions, but all in all was very very fun!!!
