Brytni was in choir once before in 3rd grade. All I have to say is this choir has come a long way since then. They sounded AMAZING! Her instructors did a marvelous job this year. I did her hair for the concert and she pouted because she didn't like it. Not at all! OH MY! It was a fight to not have her go into the bathroom and destroy it for what she liked. OH WELL! Everyone told her she looked really pretty and said that her mom should do her hair more often. LOL!
She had 3 concerts this year. One was in the gym at her school for the different grades. The next was for the parents and family. We went and so did her Aunt Anabelle, and Cousin Kayla. We yelled and hollered for her like good parents do! I took some video of a few of the songs for the purpose of showing her how well they did. One of the songs they didn't sing to. They put on white gloves, and turned on the black lights to where just the gloves glowed and did some movements to the song. That was her favorite song. The 3rd concert was at the Ogden Ampitheatre. There is a festival of houses and lights at one of the Ogden Parks. So we bundled up real warm and tromped out in the ice infested parking lot and watched her sing to her hearts content. For freezing they did another great job! At the end they were awarded a cup of hot chocolate from one of the vendors there. Which I thought was real nice. As a prize we took her out to eat at Denny's on our way home where you think we would have warmed up, but instead froze while we ate our nice warm pancakes and sausage and eggs! YUM!!!
Brytni has done a lot of growing up this year and she is such a trooper. She has gone from having struggles in school a few years ago, to being the girl that is teachers pet. She grows more and more beautiful everyday. She ceases to amaze me with her talents and the love she has. GOOD JOB B!!!! I love you!
